The small SF Bay Area post-hardcore band Concision’s debut album. It’s really great! The vocals are beautiful, the drums are PUNCHY (and very impressively played), and the whole album feels exceptionally well produced for a band of this size.

They’ve been my favorite band since they released It’s Not Chivalry…It’s Suicide and Killingsworth under their previous name, The Jellyfish Method in early 2025.

This album is personally very meaningful to me. It came out a few weeks after I got broken up with (a relationship that lasted almost 1.5 years in high school). Which was a new experience for me! This REALLY helped me get through all of that, so thank you Concision, deeply, from the bottom of my heart <3

If you live in the area, I highly recommend seeing them play in person at a show, before they’re famous :)
